WEST BROM vs STOKE – PREMIER LEAGUE
January 2 2016, The Hawthorns, 15:00 GMT+0
In the 20th round of Premier League West Brom will host Stoke City. Both of the teams have won the last match in 2015, and are coming in the second part of the league, standing on 13th (West Brom) and 10th (Stoke) place.
Neither of the teams will have full squad available going into this match, as both teams have few players injured or suspended.
West Brom will be missing Ben Foster, Salomon Rondon, James McClean, whereas Jonas Olsson and Victor Anichebe appearance is doubtful.
The visitors will miss Shay Given, Peter Crouch, Peter Odemwingie, Stephen Ireland and Marc Muniesa.
It seems West Brom is in a better position compared to Stoke, looking at missing players, but Stoke has players who won against Everton all available and will surely use similar squad today. Stoke is on the run, coming from recent wins against Manchester United and Manchester City (2:0), also we must not forget the leading scorer Marko Arnautovic who is showing great performances in recent games and will be a big thread to West Brom. Taking all into account home advantage of West Brom won’t be enough to beat Stoke who is hungry for more points, as they need to climb the table if they wish to be in european competition next season.
All in all Stoke is playing really well and are surely going for a place in European competition, with great performances in recent matches and the confidence I give Stoke an edge in this derby.
Prediction: Stoke +0
Odds: 1.96 PINNACLE
