WATFORD v CHELSEA – Barclays Premier League Betting Preview + Prediction

WATFORD v CHELSEA – Barclays Premier League
February 3 2016, Vincarage Road, 19:45 GMT+0

Neither of the teams belong in the top part of the league, Chelsea surprised everyone with their poor performance this season, that brought them to 14th place in BPL.

Even though Chelsea had a terrible start, we can see they are slowly showing better performances, with 8 games without loss, the last one coming from Leicester (2:1) 14.12.2015.
Chelsea is coming from a win in FA cup against MK Dons (1:5), and a win against Arsenal (0:1), who is again on 4th place. Being that Arsenal is a top league team this win meant a lot to Chelsea, who has been struggling against even lower table teams.

The Blues will start this match without Falcao, Remy and Miazga, whereas Pedro is back with his team. Also new singing Pato will probably sit out this match, as his fitness is not at the required level at the moment.

The home side Watford are coming from a win against Newcastle United and a win against Nottingham Forest in Fa cup. Their record on Vincarage Road is balanced (5-2-5), so It’s not a threatening statistic.

Watford will play without Ekstrand, Doyley, Hoban and Ake, whereas Holebas is back with his team.

A new singing Mario Suarez might debut today for Watford, after being transfered from Fiorentina for £4million.

All in all I predict this is a good chance for Chelsea to win this one, to extend their good performances.

Prediction: Chelsea to win
