VILLARREAL vs VALENCIA – SPANISH BBVA Betting Preview + Prediction

December 31 2015, El Madrigal, 15:00 GMT+0

Today at 15:00 two spanish teams will face each other at the El Madrigal, the 5th placed Villarreal home stadium, where they will host 10th placed Valencia.

Villarreal has shown us they are really strong playing at home, where they have not lost in last 7 matches. The El Madrigal is a tough ground for visitors to play on, as 2 of the spanish league giants have fallen this season, Real madrid (1:0) and Atletico Madrid (1:0). The yellow submarines are going strong, as they are coming from 5 matches unbeaten, and playing at home we can expect they will extend that record today.

The visitors won’t be any real threat to the Yellow Submarines, as their away record is 3 wins out of 10 matches, also they have not won in the last 5 matches in Spanish Primera. Even though the match between these tho ended 1:3 for Valencia last season, this time it will be different.

Both of the teams will be missing some of their players, Villarreal will start the match without Adrian and Daniele Bonera, whereas Bojan Jokic and Eric Baillies appearance is questionable. On the plus side Leo Baptistao might start this match, after returning from an injury.
The visitors will start the match without Diego Alves, Sofiane Feghouli and Zakaria Bakkali, Jose Gaya and Rodrigo’s appearance is doubtful.

This rival match is in favor for the Yellow Submarines, as they seem as the stronger side, especially playing at home.
Prediction: Villarreal -0.5
Odds: 1.88 PINNACLE
