Swansea v Norwich – Premier League

March 5 2016,The Liberty Stadium, 15:00 GMT+0

After a poor loss against Tottenham (2:1), Swansea managed to beat 3rd placed Arsenal in previous round (1:2) which is a great accomplishment. Even though they had a bit of luck in that match, they arguably deserved to win, as they showed great performance. I also noticed their defence improved and it was surely one of the reasons they managed to defeat one of the top teams. Italian coach Francesco Guidolin seemingly choose a right approach to that game, but sadly he won’t be available for today’s match as he is in hospital due to illness.

Angel Rangel, Federico Fernandez, Neil Taylor, Leon Britton, Gylfi Sigurdsson and Alberto Paloschi will all be available for today’s match after missing the last one.

Norwich has a terrible away record, with only 2 wins in 14 matches (2-2-10), even though Swansea does not show excellent performances at home, their record is still better compared to Norwich away record (4-4-5). The away side is in terrible form lately, as they have not tasted victory in last 7 attempts (0-1-6). That poor record surely effected the morale of the squad.

As for missing players, Alex Tetty will be missing till end of the season due to ankle injury as well as Andre Wisdom. Robbie Brady had an accident in the match against Chelsea, where he clashed heads with Gary O’Neil and lost his teeth, but will most likely be available today, Steven Naismith will also return to his squad after being rested against Chelsea along with Sebastien Bassong and Patrick Bamford.

I believe Swansea has a good chance to win at home stadium against poor Norwich who seems won’t be getting back up soon after games they showed us.
