SHEFFIELD WEDNESDAY v FULHAM – ENGLAND FA CUP Betting Preview + Prediction

SHEFFIELD WEDNESDAY v FULHAM – ENGLAND FA CUP
January 9 2016, Hillsborough, 15:00 GMT+0

There two teams have already played each other this year, where Sheffield came away as a winner (0:1), but that match was played at Craven Cottage, and today’s match is played at Hillsborough, where Sheffield has not lost in the last 10 matches. The Owls will miss Tom Lees and Michael Turner, and will welcome back Sergiu Bus and Marco Matias after injury.

Sheffield is really strong playing at home, where they even managed to beat Arsenal (3:0), who is currently EPL leader. The Owls are just a really good cup team, and that is shown especially when they play at home, where they are close to unbeaten.

The guests today are suffering a terrible form and had only managed to win once in their last ten matches. Their new coach Slavisa Jokanovic had a debut win (4:1) against Rotherham, but after that match they lost at their todays opponents. Fulham away record is 2-5-5, and looking at the last 5 matches the record is 0-2-3.

This game seems as it can only go one way, as if the guests weren’t able to beat Sheffield at home, there is little to none chance they will be able to do so in Hollsborough. My prediction is that The Owls will win this one withouth any big problems.

Prediction: Sheffield Wednesday -0.5
