Rayo Vallecano v Eibar – Spain Primera Division

March 12 2016, Estadio de Vallecas, 21:05 GMT +0

Rayo sits at 17th place, just 1 point above relegation zone, but I do not believe they will finish there at the end of the season. We cannot go pass the fact they indeed did loose 2 back to back games against Barcelona (1:5) and Espanyol (2:1), but one of those losses was against Barcelona with only 9 men playing against the Spanish giant. Those suspensions of 2 key players effected the performance of Rayo in the last match against Espanyol and the result was (2:1) defeat. Both of the suspended players return today to face off against Eibar. Angel Crespo, Baena, Rat Tono  and Ebert still remain in the long term absence.

The visitors, Eibar have been falling in form and that is shown in latest 4 back to back defeats against, Celta vigo (3:2), Las Palmas (0:1), Sevilla (1:0) and Barcelona (0:4) in fact they lost 7 out of last 8 matches. Taking that into consideration the last fixture between these two (1:0) cannot be used to determine the winner, as Eibar is in much worse form than in start of November.

This should be a great opportunity for Rayo to win.

Prediction: Rayo Vallecano -0.5
