Orlando Magic v Miami Heat – NBA Betting Preview
Miami Heat had a very bumpy season last year, but they turned it around very quickly. After being 11-30 at the start of the season, they went on to have 30-11 run, which resulted in an exact 0.500. But sadly, they still missed the Play-offs. The final result of the season was not so promising, but if we take into account they went on a 30-11 run in the second half, that does bring some hope for a great season. As far as the roster goes, it remained more or less the same as the last year, but being that that same roster managed to have such a successful run, I don’t see any problem in keeping the same players. “Don’t fix it if it isn’t broken”
Orlando Magic had made a few minor changes to their team in the offseason, adding Shelvin Mack, Jonathon Simmons, Arron Afflalo and Marreese Speights to their roster, and said goodbye to Jeff Green. Other than that, Orlando had a passive offseason, so there is not much to say. These two teams have played each other in last season’s opening match, where Miami managed to win 108:96. Will this match be a reflection of the match last year? Maybe. Magic has played well in the preseason and you can sense optimism in the squad. Coach Vogel has a young team at his disposal, who have gained a lot of experience and the improvement is clearly seen. They boast a good offence with a quick tempo. On the other side, Miami plays with a really quick pace. When you put 2 teams with a great offence and quick-paced playstyle, it can mean only one thing and that is that we will see a lot of points from both sides. Keeping that in mind, I would predict this match to end with over 206 points in total.
Prediction: Over 206 points
