Paul George (SG, Indiana Pacers)
Paul George has got an average of 22.2 pts, 6 rebounds and 2.7 assists this season. Looking at his points in the past 3 matches he has scored from 20-25 points. Against Bulls (20), Nets (22) and Dallas (25). Today Indiana Pacers are going against 4th best defensive team in the league Charlotte Hornets, who only let the opponents score 95.8 points at average. It will be hard match for Pacers as they will visit the Hornets, so expect the home team to prevent George getting out of hand with his scoring.
Prediction: Under 23.5
Kentavious Caldwell-Pope (SG, Detroit Pistons)
This season, he has been averaging 12.8 pts, 3rebounds and 2.2 assists. His scoring really has been up and down, and at the moment it is down. Looking at past 2 matches he has played, he combined only 9 points. His FB% went down and his FGA has been reduced by half of what we are used to see from him. Every player has times like that, when he just can’t score and I will gladly take advantage of that and predict he will not get over 14.5 points in the upcoming match.
Prediction: Under 14.5
Gordon Hayward (SF, Utah Jazz)
He has doubled the amount of points this season (28.0), compared to his career average (14.6) which is spectacular. How about if I tell you he only played 1 match so far this season. Not so spectacular anymore right? His 1st match of the season was against NY Knicks, where Utah Jazz won (109:114). The team should thank Hayward, as he was leading the scoreboard with 28 points and he also added 5 rebounds. The question is, can he repeat his scoring performance? Knicks don’t have the worst, but surely not the best defence in the league. This might helped him to score 28 points. Now Jazz play against Philadelphia 76ers, who again do not have the best defence, but it is better than Knicks. It is safe to assume Hayward will not repeat his great debut and a realistic expectation would be under 20.5 points.
Prediction: Under 20.5
