METZ v CRETEIL – FRANCE LIGUE TWO
January 21 2016, Stadium Saint-Symphorien, 19:00 GMT+0
Metz is coming from a loss against Valenciennes, where they were a bit unlucky to not get even a point, that they deserved in my opinion. In my opinion, that match was really balanced, but Metz lost because of a 81′ goal from Diarra, that scored both goals for Valenciennes that match.
A game Metz played at home against Bourg Peronnas shows that they can be deadly playing at Saint-Symphorien, as they have won 5:0 and Bourg being better team this season as Creteil it’s most likely that Certeil will have the same destiny as Bourg.
Now Metz is playing at home against Certeil who has the worst defence in the league, conceiving 38 goals in 21 matches, which is the most goals any team has conceived by a long run. Even though Metz is not playing very well lately, Certeil record is much worse, as they have not won in last 10 matches, 4 of their losses coming from away games.
These two teams have clashed once in this season, with Metz coming on top (1:2) and if that means anything Metz will have an advantage today.
Both of the teams will miss some players, Metz will be without Daniel Candeias, Kevin Lejeune and Cheick Doukoure, the visitors Christope Diedhiou (a key player) will miss this match due to suspension and Sacha Clemence who is injured.
In conclusion, with Metz home advantage and their opponents missing a key defender, Metz new coach Philippe Hinschberger will surely lead his team to victory.
Prediction: Metz -0.75
