Stadium: StubHub Center
Capacity: 27,000

 Bruce Arena (21.9.1951)
Although Bruce had a short career as a player(playing only for college and university sites as a goalkeeper and one cap for national team), he achieved a lot as a coach, managing teams like DC United, New York Redbulls and finally, his current team, LA Galaxy. With LA Galaxy, he managed to won MLS Cup three time(2011, 2012, 2014), Supporters’ Shield two times(2010, 2011) and was the champion of the Western Conference four times(2009, 2011, 2012, 2014).

Last Season:

Disappointing season for LA Galaxy, finishing only on 5th in the Western Conference and on 9th place in the league overall. Although they qualified for the play-offs, they were eliminated in the 1/8-finals by Seattle Sounders(3-2). In the cup they managed to get into the Quarter-finals, but only to be eliminated by the Real Salt Lake(1-0).
Top Goalscorer: Robbie Keane – 20 goals

Most of they games were played with their second team, as they had CONCACAF Champions League to worry about. They beat Armenian team FC Shirak(2-1), lost against Toronto(3-2). A draw with Tijuana(0-0) followed before they beat San Jose(1-0). They finished off their pre-season with a disappointing loss against Seattle Sounders(4-0).

Review: Sadly they lost Juninho to Tijiana, but no worries, they done a great deal bringing in Asley Cole(Roma), Nigel De Jong(AC Milan) and Jelle Van Damme(Standard Liege). They also replaced their goalkeeper with Dan Kennedy from Dallas FC. Hopefully this will fix their goalkeeper issues.

Season 2016:

LA Galaxy should be looking to try and break into the top three this season after a disappointing 2015 season, but to do that they are going to need to rotate their older players and keep them fresh for the big games. As for the cup games, they haven’t advanced past the quarter-finals for the last six season. Those games might be a perfect opportunity to rest some key players.

Western Conference: 3rd –  5th place
League Overall:  5th – 9th place

Betting Prediction: Lay(bet against) LA Galaxy to win the US Open (bet will be won if they fail to win the US Open)
