Leeds are expected to make one change to the team which did beat Birmingham City in midweek. Head coach Steve Evans says that Bridcutt has a 70% chance of being fit to return to the team. He is a key player and his defensive qualities are key to the team. He could replace Murphy in the centre of midfield. There is a slight doubt over Bamba, but he should continue in the team as Evans says it is nothing serious. Carayol has a similar problem but should be ready to remain on the bench as well. Mowatt was sent off at Birmingham and will therefore serve a three-match suspension, as their appeal was unsuccessful.

Their win over Birmingham have given the fans and management staff plenty to be encouraged about. They believe they are only a few more strong summer additions away from challenging for a play-off place next season. They just need to end this season strong enough, to convince the owner to release funds to strengthen their squad.

Reading are set to name a much-changed starting line-up for this game after they picked up a few costly injuries in the midweek defeat at Middlesbrough (2-1). They will be without a two of their usual starting back four in this match. Regular full backs Gunter and Obita are injured, so winger McCleary and Taylor will start at right and left back respectively. Robson-Kanu still injured, Kermorgant likely to miss out as his partner is due to give birth.

The last two matches have been very encouraging for Leeds. They lost at Burnley despite playing well and deserved to beat Birmingham in midweek. Confidence is high as a result, but they must show some consistency as they end the season.
