Feyenoord v Graafschap – Dutch Eredivisie

March 19 2016, Sportcomplex Varkenoord, 18:45 GMT+0

Feyenoord has bounced back with 3 back to back wins against Utrecht (1:2), Cambuur (1:3) and Vitesse (0:2).  Those good performances will surely boost their confidence when going against 17th placed Graafschap, who will most likely end up relegated by the end of the season. Feyenoord did in fact suffer from poor form recently, but they improved just in time and are now at 3rd place, which means they get a chance to get into Europa League trough qualifications. Going into today’s match the hosts will only miss 1 player, Dirk Kuijt.

The visiting side does in fact have a chance to stay in Dutch Eredivisie, if they manage to stay at 17th place, which would mean they get into “play-offs” against 16th placed team and the winner gets another chance in this league next season. That is in fact the best they can achieve in my eyes, as there needs to be a miracle to get to 15th place and out of relegation zone. With 2 defeats in the last 3 matches played the form, as well as confidence sure is suffering for Graafschap squad.  As for missing players, Nathaniel,Bannik, Lammers, Menting and Quekel are all sidelined With that in mind they have little to no chance to win this one.

I am confident Feyenoord will win this one by at least 2 goals, so my tip is -1.5 to the home side.

Prediction: Feyenoord -1.5
Odds: 1.82 Pinnacle
