Fantasy EPL

Captain Choices

Zlatan Ibrahimović (£11.6m) – Hull v Manchester United
Currently the league joint top scorer with three goals has had a fantastic start of the season with his new club. With 9 points in GW1 and 13 in GW2 he seems like a valid choice for a captain.

Sergio Agüero (£13.1m) – Manchester City v West Ham
Similar stats to Zlatan with three goals and 9 points in GW1 and 13 points in GW2. He is City’s first choice for taking penalty shots and an excellent captain choice.

Forwards

Cristhian Stuani (£4.9m) – West Brom v Middlesbrough
Scored two goals on his first EPL match against Sunderland in GW2. With the price of only 4.9m this is an excellent option if you are looking for a cheap forward. If he continues with good performances, the price will surely rise.

Álvaro Negredo (£6.7m) – West Brom v Middlesbrough
Another Boro striker with 9 points in GW1 and 10 points in GW2. If he continues with his good form, the price tag of £6.7m could be worth.

Diego Da Silva Costa (£9.5m) – Chelsea v Burnley
Chelsea’s star striker looks like he is back in form, scoring twice in the last two matches. He managed to get 5 points in each game week and he looks like a good long term investment. Just pray he doesn’t receive a red card.

Midfielders

Nathan Redmond (£6.1m) – Southampton v Sunderland
Redmond looks like a good choice, as he will be playing against depleted Sunderland defence on Saturday. 10 points in GW1 against Watford and only 2 points in GW2 against Manchester United. He should be dangerous against “The Black Cats” and £6.1m is a fair price.

Dušan Tadić (£7.4m) – Southampton v Sunderland
Tadič only managed to get two points per game week, but that may change against Sunderland. He has an impressive eight attempts on goal, three from inside the goal area and two hitting the target.

Defenders

Ramiro Funes Mori (£5.0m) – Everton v Stoke
Although he managed to get only 2 points per game week, he looks like a solid choice for a defender. Everton have an experienced backline and their next game is against Stoke, who only managed to get four shots on target this season.
